We often all call Edvard Munch’s famous work “The Scream.”

 
My good Norwegian friend once told me it’s actually called “Skrik” (shriek) in the artist’s native Norwegian, as in the artist’s original notes: ” … I felt as if all nature were filled with one mighty unending shriek.”
 
I’m not sure why I’m thinking of this as we approach a year of a pandemic and a month of homeschooling in lockdown…🤔
 

It’s okay to scream. Or shriek. There is a lot written about benefits of primal scream therapy. You might need to apologise for scaring the neighbours afterwards.
