Walk With A Doc Ireland is back this autumn.

This autumn, I’ll be on the road — and it may be more appropriate to call it “Walk With Docs”.

This September, I’ll start close to my home in Ashbourne, Co. Meath at 11am on Sunday 24 September.  We will meet by the outdoor amphitheatre next to the playground on Castlestreet.

Sunday, 8 October 2023 I will be in Limerick City!  Walk will start at 11am in Arthur’s Quay Park. I’ll be joined by some awesome mnádocs  rom the annual Women in Medicine conference that weekend.

Sunday, 12 November 2023, I’ll be up in Letterkenny, Donegal.  Walk will start at 11am in Bernard McGlinchey Town Park.  

The focus on the walk series this autumn will be on “winterproofing” your activity.  For those who have been more active during the summer or who started new activity now that the kids are back in school, how do you keep the momentum going as days get shorter, colder, and busier

As always, walks are free and open to all. They are suitable for all ages and abilities. No pre-registration is necessary.  Just show up and wear clothing appropriate for the weather.
